About FloridaFixPros

Why we built this

The big national platforms turned home services into an auction. A homeowner searches once, and their phone number gets sold to five, ten, sometimes twelve contractors — who each paid $15–$85 for the privilege of racing to call first. Homeowners get spammed. Pros burn money on leads that convert at 10–20%. Everybody loses except the platform.

FloridaFixPros does it the old way, on purpose: a directory. Companies listed here show their real phone number and their Florida DBPR license number. You read real prices in our cost guides, you call the company yourself, you pay the company — never us. Pros pay a flat monthly listing fee (free during launch) instead of per-lead tolls.

What we stand for

• No shared leads. Your request is never auctioned to a list of strangers.
• License up front. Florida law requires licenses for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing and pool construction work. We print the number and teach you to verify it.
• Real prices. Our cost guides use actual Florida invoice medians — not made-up "national averages."
• Florida only. One state, done properly — starting with Tampa Bay, Ocala & The Villages, Lakeland–Winter Haven and Sarasota–Bradenton.
• English + Spanish. About 4.8 million Floridians speak Spanish at home. Se habla español — our Spanish service grows city by city.
